Our Virtual E-Design services were designed for our clients out of state or out of the country. CMI will take you through the same design process as our local clients except for the installation day. We will give you detailed information on how to install your project. We will be there every step of the way and communicate through our workspace board in real time.

Our workspace board is a place where we will communicate in real time, upload and share documents, photos, budget tracking/timeline and many other features. This is a vital tool to keeps us connected through the entire design process. Client has the option for us to install your project with additional travel, airfare and hotel fee.

Initial Consultation to determine scope of work, client needs and budget. Via Zoom or phone.

Preliminary design intention and direction.
Preliminary space plans, furniture and finish selections.
Create quick sketches / Muud boards to communicate and clarify design intention /direction.

Develop working drawings, plan sets and renderings.
Finalize selections of furniture, finishes and materials.
Prepare estimated budget and project timeline.

Where we start to bring your design to life:

Prepare documents to solicit competitive bids.
Provide guidance in the selection of necessary contractors, painters, artisan, etc.
Prepare purchase orders and negotiate fees.
Track orders from all vendors and make changes as necessary. Maintain master budget / order tracking information.
CMI will send you a CC Auth form to order approved items in your finalized design plans.

Review technical drawings from vendors.
Maintain project record, budget, orders.
Project management via our virtual communication board.
Client has access to budget sheet / order tracking to follow along and monitor financials for the project.

Scheduled design meetings throughout design process via Zoom or phone call.

Client Install

Where your new design comes to life:

CMI will send you a detailed punch list of how to install and layout your project successfully.
Virtual supervision of installation day (s). We will be available via zoom or phone call throughout the entire installation process.
Create punch list of items that need to be addressed.
Post occupancy evaluation of satisfaction and follow-up with clients to ensure they are completely satisfied with our work on their project.

Budget development, refinement, and project management.

Custom furniture design, window treatments, soft goods, and cabinetry/casework design.
Green, healthy, and locally-made design options.
Ordering, tracking, client will inspect delivery of all furniture, furnishings, fabrics and accessories.
Coordinating schedules, installation, moving, and storage.
Partnering with specialists when needed, including art consultants, relocation specialists and others.
